Our collection of cottages and apartments provides a rural hideaway in a glorious setting. We’re situated on the Ullswater Way round-the-lake footpath and within walking distance of the Ullswater ‘Steamers’ pier, making us popular with walkers. Don't miss Aira Force waterfall and Wordsworth's daffodils in the spring. Explore nearby Pooley Bridge, a riverside village with dining and shopping options. From there, you can walk to Dalemain Mansion and Lowther Castle, both connected by extensions of the Ullswater Way. Leave the car, take the bus! The ‘Ullswater Hopper' bus service is a great way to travel around the valley. (Seasonal)

Ullswater is a dream holiday spot for dogs and their families. With fells to conquer for the most nimble- Waterfoot Park pawed of dogs, lakeside strolls for waggy-tailed pups who love to make a splash, and rich woodlands that are pawfect for some curious snuffling, it’s impossible to run out of places to explore. We understand how important it is to bring your four-legged family members on holiday with you, so we offer dog-friendly cottages that welcome the whole family. We also provide a special welcome pack for holidaying hounds to make their stay even more pawsome (subject to availability) and a communal dog bath for mucky paws.

The on-site Mansion Bar provides a fabulous social hub, bringing together fellow guests and holiday homeowners to relax and unwind. There’s an outside seating area and garden with views of the lake and surrounding fells. Other facilities include a play park, laundry, a handy shop and EV charging (charges apply).
