Last chance to book: EDC and Rheged partner to deliver free business event

Eden District Council, in partnership with Rheged, is hosting a free business event for front of house, reception and Tourist Information Centre staff.

The event will provide front of house staff with the opportunity to chat to other Eden-based attractions and food suppliers about what there is to do and see in the area. It will also raise awareness of the district’s excellent local food and drink offer.

The session is taking place on Tuesday 7 March 2023, from 10am to 1pm, at the Rheged Centre near Penrith.

Cllr Mary Robinson, Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Economy and Enterprise at Eden District Council, said,

“The last time we held this event for front of house staff, it was so popular that we were oversubscribed, so we are delighted to be holding the event again this year in partnership with Rheged.

“The session will have all great information for organisations to pass on to their visitors.

“For Eden visitor attractions and food suppliers, the event provides an excellent opportunity to talk about your business, any new developments and your plans for the upcoming season.”
