The 2022 Eden visitor guide is now available
The brand new 2022 Eden visitor guide is now available. The annual guide is produced by Eden District Council’s Economic Development and Tourism Team in partnership with Bucket and Spade.
2021 has been another challenging year for the tourism industry and Eden District Council has again demonstrated its commitment to the districts visitor economy by offering subsidised visitor guide advertising to businesses. Due to continuing uncertainty with holidays abroad, domestic trips are again expected to be in high demand and the Eden visitor guide will be an integral part of the promotional marketing mix for 2022.
The guide promotes a wealth of visitor activities, a broad range of high quality accommodation, amazing hospitality and a fantastic local food offer. Gorgeous photos show Eden at its best and carefully chosen editorial gives the visitor a taste of the highlights to be enjoyed when staying in Eden. The publication also includes information to help the ‘new’ visitors enjoy the outdoors safely and respectfully.
Councillor Mary Robinson, Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Economy and Enterprise at Eden District Council, said: “As the staycation market looks set to continue this year, the Eden visitor guide will be an invaluable part of planning ahead for a holiday in Eden. Our tourism businesses have worked hard during an extremely challenging two years and we hope the Eden visitor guide will help support them as we recover from the pandemic.”
The Eden visitor guide will be distributed via National Media Campaign and PR projects, local and national Tourist Information Centres and via the Visit Eden website.
