The 2023 Eden visitor guide is now available
The brand new 2023 Eden visitor guide is now available. The annual guide is produced by us in the Eden District Council Economic Development and Tourism Team in partnership with Bucket and Spade.
The guide seeks to promote Eden’s high quality accommodation, attractions, activities, key events and fantastic local food. The guide is part of a wider campaign to continue to attract new and existing visitors, with a focus on the outdoors and health and wellbeing.
This year’s guide also features brand new photography showcasing Eden at its very best.
The 2023 Eden guide will be the last one produced by Eden District Council before the merger with South Lakeland District Council and Barrow Borough Council to form Westmorland and Furness Council in April. However, support for Eden’s visitor economy businesses will continue moving forward, which will include promotional activities.
Councillor Mary Robinson, Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Economy and Enterprise at Eden District Council, said: “The Eden visitor guide will continue to be an invaluable part of marketing for the area in 2023. Although Eden District Council won’t exist after April, geographically the Eden Valley is an area in its own right and a key base for exploring the surrounding areas of Ullswater and Alston and the North Pennines.”
The Eden visitor guide will be distributed via National Media Campaign and PR projects, local and national Tourist Information Centres and via the Visit Eden website.
