Ullswater Information Centre is situated in the main car park, Beckside, in Glenridding close to the shores of Ullswater.

The friendly and knowledgeable team are here to help you make the most of your visit and can provide you with all you need to know about where to stay, where to eat, plus things to do and how to get here.

Main Services:

Local Information Service: The TIC has information on local attractions, events and guided walks in the National Park, plus travel advice for road, rail, bus and boat.  There is a good selection of leaflets on local walks and cycle rides with books and guides for sale.

Range of books, maps, gifts and souvenirs on sale: A selection of Maps, books, walking and cycling guides including Miles without Stiles are on sale. Plus a great choice of quality gifts made or sourced in Cumbria, including beautiful locally made jewellery, Herdy Company mugs, coaster, key rings, tea towels and more, greetings cards and postcards.

What else does the TIC have to offer?

Car Park/Toilets: There is a pay and display car park and toilet facilities available nearby.  Free Wi-Fi is available in the TIC and dogs are welcome in the centre.
