Apple tasting weekends at Acorn Bank

As our harvest ripens drop in to sample a range of rare, heritage apples from Acorn Bank’s orchards and learn about what makes these varieties so special.

Description

The 175 varieties of apple growing under the care of Acorn Bank's garden team start to ripen at the end of August, with the latest being picked around the middle of October. Every weekend throughout September and October the most recently picked fruit will be available for visitors to taste. Try a Keswick Codlin, a Howgate Wonder or even a Pitmaston Pineapple – which is actually an apple!
